Challenge #1 – Day 2 – *Tap Tap Tap* Is This Thing On?

Katie

Read the script again, today.  Very relaxing.  Not really certain if I am hypnotizing myself, though.  I guess day two is hardly the day to make assessments as to whether or not my stress-relief endeavor is working.  I definitely feel sleepy when I read the script out loud, but I also feel silly.  Patrick makes a good point when he says that he doesn’t know if the stress relief would come from the hypnosis or from the relaxation…I suppose it really doesn’t matter, honestly, as long as I have relief.

I posted an invitation for everyone to come monitor my progress on my Facebook page, and there were a host of comments…the one I liked the best is a response to the suggestion that I am being prepped for bank robbery:

“As you read this book [rob the Scotchman Bank] and you [rob the Scotchman Bank] focus on being healthy and not eating when you’re bored but only [rob the Scotchman Bank] eating as a way to fuel your body and…”

I don’t really know if the “reading out loud” is as critical as hearing the script…I like the drowsy part, but I don’t want to have to “wake up,” since the relaxation is so…well…relaxing.
I think I have a strategy to MODIFY this…Oh, and hand over all the money in a paper bag I do think I was a little less stressed today!
